What is your reason to join with Teach For Indonesia?

I first knew about TFI on the orientation day in Binus Square. Then, I started to feel eager to know more about TFI. So, I went to its website and check out for more details.

I came to contact the office to see wheter I can volunteer for it or not. Everything seems to fall in line. The staffs greet us welcomingly. I started the first class and it was wonderful. I felt really happy to get the chance to teach the local kids what I know. At the sam time, I also get to practice my Bahasa and have fun with them.

What is your opinion about Teach For Indonesia?

I think TFI is a great place for students to challenge themselves and it also creates the sense of community. Sometimes, the students don’t know their own ability relating to teaching. Once, they join TFI, they will be able to push themselves to do something they never thought they could have done before. At the same time, students will feel a sense of belonging as they get to help other kids by spreading their own knowledge. The students will get to feel that they belong to TFI community, where everyone eager to help one another by sharing what they know.
