What is your reason to join with Teach For Indonesia?

I’ve always been interested in teaching children when i was in high school. Even now I’m still interested in teaching them. However, I Can only teach a few subjects such an English, Mathematics, and Science. It was also one of the activities my University recommended so it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass on.

What is your opinion about Teach For Indonesia?

TFI is a good program for kids where we students can help give more knowledge to children. It can be considered as an extra lesson for them. They won’t be restricted to too much discipline as the aim of TFI is to teach and have fun at the same time.

What activities have you done in Teach For Indonesia?

I have taught them Mathematics and English. I feel comfortable in these subjects as I was very good in both of the subjects. Teaching English is important as most countries now use English as its international language. So its imperative that we nurture the children to talk in English.
